Research Analyst
Job Title: Research Analyst
Location: Remote (US)
Reports to: Public Records Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary:
Our Research Analyst is responsible for obtaining public record information through various sources and entering that information into our system.
Key Responsibilities:

Searching established state and county court websites for specific public information based on the system requirements to include jurisdictional, client and company guidelines.

Adhering to the timeline of completing oldest to newest unless instructed otherwise by management.

Understanding court dockets and transferring accurate information into the system.

Contact court clerks to determine if a public record exists on a given subject, obtaining or verifying case information or identifiers.

Maintain productivity and quality standards.

Complete all assigned training by the due date.

Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any cross-functional issues.

Any additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
-
Knowledge of court systems and language used.

Knowledge of criminal and civil records.
-
Knowledge of computers, email, and the internet.

Strong attention to detail with communication, problem solving, organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
-
1-2 years in data processing and criminal research.
-
High School diploma or GED required.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience in the background screening sector.
-
1-2 years’ experience in court research.
-
Associate’s degree in criminal justice.
